In this course you learn how to respond to medical emergencies in a fun, relaxed and practical way, which can be very useful in your daily life. You learn to provide First Aid in the event of accidents and acute illnesses.

This First Aid consists of:

• mouth-to-mouth ventilation and heart resuscitation

• dealing with a defibrillator

• assessing for injuries and stopping major bleeding.

• disease assessment

• make connections and splinting

 

With the achievement of your EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONDER certification, divers have also met a condition to be able to start the PADI Rescue Diver and PADI Divemaster course.

 

The EFR license is valid for 2 years. You can keep it valid by doing an EFR update within those 2 years. In this update, the skills are repeated and refreshed.
